Two members, Dr. Terry O'Malley and Dr. Greg Alexander are leading the 7th Moving Forward Committee. These seven Committees make up the Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition. This coalition evolved from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) Nursing Home study. Drs. O'Malley and Alexander are co-leaders of the 7th committee, which has a goal to 'Adopt health information technology in all nursing homes'. Both are founding members of the LTPAC HIT Collaborative.

Most of the Collaborative members are involved in the Moving Forward Coalition as Subject Matter Experts on Committee #7, which has a goal to Adopt health information technology in all nursing homes.
